Late last year, Gucci Mane appeared on Chris Brown’s Heartbreak On A Full Moon single “Party” that also featured Usher. The favor is returned six months later, as Guwop and Breezy connect on their brand new collab “Tone It Down.” Keeping the recent trend alive of popular flute-based records, Gucci heads straight to the clubs on his latest banger, as Chris Brown does double-duty of rapping and crooning on the song’s hook.

Gucci’s Drop Top Wop album is out now, while Chris Brown’s forthcoming double LP is due later this year.

JAY Z ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM, ‘4:44’

Hovi’s coming. After a few mysterious “4:44” ads appearing across the nation earlier this month, TIDAL has officially confirmed its connection with JAY Z’s upcoming 13th album, 4:44. Dropping on June 30, exclusively on TIDAL, the release coincides with TIDAL and Sprint’s new campaign, honoring 6 complimentary months of TIDAL to new Sprint customers. Above, a new track, “Adnis”, inspired by Jay’s father, plays as actor Mahershala Ali trains in the black-and-white trailer for the project’s film, also starring Lupita Nyong and Danny Glover. Hov’s sure had a great week. Last Thursday, he was inducted in the ‘Songwriters Hall Of Fame‘ and it also has been confirmed that he and wife, Beyonce, welcomed their twins earlier in the week. Meek Mill takes to IG to preview an upcoming record possibly called “Save Me.”

It’s safe to say Meek Mill is putting in that work right now. Coming off the release of his Meekend Music EP last month & hitting us with two more songs after that called “Glow Up” & “Whatever You Need” with Chris Brown & Ty Dolla $ign, the MMG rapper is currently working on his third studio album at the moment called Wins & Losses, and on Friday night we get a little taste of what he’s been cooking up.

Taking to his Instagram page, like he often does, the MMG rapper decided to share a clip of an upcoming record, which based on the caption could be titled “Save Me.” The slow tempo record looks to be produced by Dougie On The Beat, but other than that that’s all we know for now.

It’s freaky Friday for Tank fans!

The R&B General returns today with a sultry new single titled “When We,” and it’s ready to hit your playtime playlists.

Over a slowing revolving production with heavy drums and snaps, the singer/songwriter gets his partner in the mood for some deep penetrating love making.

“I like it when you lose it / I like it when you go there / I like the way you use it / I like that you don’t play fair,” he sings.

Using a soft, falsetto tone Tank gets even more explicit with his commands, but the aggressiveness still comes off tender as he sings, “Face down, ass up / Back back back it up / Now let me get both of them legs and put them both behind your head.”

The crooner has been working on his upcoming album ‘Savage‘ which he has been teasing on Instagram this year.

New Video: DJ Khaled Feat. Rihanna & Bryson Tiller “Wild Thoughts”

DJ Khaled’s Grateful album is now exactly one week away. The star-studded ‘musical event’ is set to hit stores on June 23, and the DJ/producer is giving fans another potential smash-hit set to take over the charts. First teased recently when photos surfaced online, DJ Khaled has landed the Rihanna vocals, getting the pop superstar on the song “Wild Thoughts.” The song, which samples Santana’s 2000 smash-hit “Maria Maria,” also features R&B singer Bryson Tiller. The sizzling collaboration also comes with a vibrant music video, directed by Colin Tilley. Filmed in Miami’s Little Haiti, Khaled and RiRi dance through local the market with kids, before connecting with the ‘T R A P S O U L’ singer for a fireworks-filled performance shot.

Grateful includes previously released collaborations with Jay Z, Beyoncé (“Shining“), Drake (“To the Max“), Chance The Rapper and Justin Bieber (“I’m the One“). Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys, Nas, Calvin Harris, Future, Rick Ross, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Big Sean, Travi$ Scott, 2 Chainz and more make guest appearances on the album which can be pre-ordered here.

PnB Rock Back With Two New Tracks Time + Feelings

PnB Rock is fresh off being featured on XXL’s 2017 Freshmen cover. To make sure the people know why he was even considered for the cover in the first place, the Philly singer and occasional rapper is back today with a couple of new songs. In a playlist titled Catch These Vibes, PnB lets loose his smooth new tracks “Feelins,” that samples Bobby Caldwell’s “What You Won’t Do For Love” and “Time,” a record that’s sure to get plenty of burn during these summer months.

Calvin Harris Announces Single With Big Sean, Pharrell, & Katy Perry

Dropping tomorrow.

Calvin Harris recently shared some audio teases from his upcoming album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1., and while Harris isn't exactly a hip-hop artist, the producer slash DJ has been known to dabble. Plus, dude's clearly got reach in the community, as his latest single Feels features both Big Sean and Pharrell. Oh, and Katy Perry, whose position in the hip-hop game has recently been under a bit of scrutiny. 

"Feels" is set to drop tomorrow, and from the sound of it, looks to continue Harris' trend of eighties infused jams. You can catch a snippet of Big Sean's verse in the video below, so check that out if you're curious for a preview

Tory Lanez Says His New Album Is Almost Done

season approaches. Earlier today (June 14), the Toronto artist used his Twitter account to announce that his I Told You follow-up is almost complete.

“Second album 90% done ,” Lanez wrote in the tweet. Although Lanez says he’s nearly finished working on his second studio album, there’s no telling when he’ll finish. Even murkier is when, exactly, the project will drop. So maybe Tory Lanez season isn’t coming all that soon—but it is coming.

Since dropping I Told You last August, Lanez has served up plenty of new music for his fans, dropping his mixtapes The New Toronto 2 and Chixtape 4 back in January. Still, it’d be cool to get a new LP from one of Toronto’s brightest stars.

Lanez, who recently squashed his beef with Drake, has been riding the momentum of a successful 2016 all year. A few days ago, he used some of that success to do some retaliatory flexing by dropping $35,000 at a Canadian department store after claiming an employee insinuated he coulnd’t afford to buy anything.

“35,000 in HOLT RENFREW…cuz this Nigga tried to play me like I was broke,” Lanez wrote in a text overlay for the video. He definitely made his point.

On a scorching day in the Tri-State, Hot 97’s annual ‘Summer Jam’ concert lit MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ yesterday. Performers on the bill included Chris Brown, Fat Joe & Remy Ma, Migos, Trey Songz, French Montana and many more. One of the most memorable moments was DJ Khaled joining the Migos and bringing out his son Asahd Khaled.

Other highlights included Faith Evans’ Bad Boy’s ’20 Years of B.I.G.’ along with the Bad Boy family, Queen Latifah, Lil’ Kim , MC Lyte, Lady Of Rage and Rah Digga joining Remy Ma and Remy putting you know who on that Summer Jam screen during “ShETHER“.

Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna Have Begun Shooting "Loyalty" Video

Yesterday, footage of the filming of Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna's "Loyalty" track surfaced on the web.

While fairly brief, the seconds long clip showed a host of women in nothing much more than undergarments moving seductively around an individual we'd like to assume was a blindfolded K-Dot.

No confirmation on the exact motif of the video or the current status of its production, but it's goes without saying that we're ready to see what Kendrick and RiRi are cooking up given their track records in delivering on some excellent visuals in the past, most notably the videos presented by Kendrick for the tracks "DNA" and "HUMBLE."
