Nicki Minaj Talks The Pinkprint, YMCMB Issues, Jay Z, Working With Beyonce, & More

Nicki Minaj continues her press run for her December 15th release, The Pinkprint. The rapper called intoDJ Whoo Kid’s The Whoolywood Shuffle to chop it up about a few things. Ms. Minaj obviously spoke on her forthcoming album and confirm that she was in fact inspired by Jay Z’s The Blueprint. The New York native also spoke on running into Hov and Beyonce in Paris where Hov told her that he really liked “Chiraq” and “Looking Ass Nigga.” After speaking on her run in with the power couple, Nicki opened up about working with Beyonce after thinking it would never happen.

Queen Barb talked to Whoo Kid about her remixes for tracks like “Chiraq,” “Danny Glover,” and “No Flex Zone,” while adding her reasoning for not touching “CoCo.” She also addressed her collaboration with Meek Mill and if the duo are doing more than just making music together.

More importantly, Nicki touched on what is on many fan’s minds: what is happening with Lil Wayne and Birdman?! Nick claims that YMCMB are still going strong and they are still a loving family.

Mack Maine Gives An Update On Tha Carter V & Lil Wayne Leaving Cash Money

 

 

 

Mack Maine has been relatively quiet since Lil Wayne took to his Twitter account to express his disdain for Cash Money Records. Cash Money/Young Money has had an interesting few weeks from Tyga waiting to leave YM, Wayne reaching what Mack calls his “breaking point,” the delay of Tha Carter V, and Diddy fighting Drake at LIV in Miami. The Young Money president discusses all of those topics in his talk with Miami’s WEDR 99 Jamz. According to Mack, Tha Carter V is still coming during the first quarter of 2015 and will come in two parts. Listen below.

New Music: Teairra Mari- Deserve

Following last night’s “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” finale, birthday girl Teairra Mari (she turns 27 today) gets back in the game with her new single “Deserve.” On the kiss-off anthem, produced by her co-star Yung Berg, the R&B diva puts an ex on blast (paging Ray J) and declares her worth.
