Dej Loaf – Fools Fall In Love

After dropping “Back Up” featuring Big Sean the other day, a new Dej Loaf record leaks titled “Fools Fall In Love.” Not sure whether or not the 2015 XXL Freshman cover artist dropped this herself or not. Doing what she does best, the Detroit artist gives us soft melodies on this one. Be on the lookout for her new EP dropping later this month.

NEW VIDEO: TINK – ‘MILLION’

The onslaught from Chicago’s Tink continues with the release of the video for her single “Million.” The remake of the classic Aaliyah cut finds Tink in various scenes for the video; one in a white room with huge speakers in bright colors, another with a squad of masked dancers and the last with her bae that holds her attention.
If you have yet to “Think Tink,” the dual talent has been on a hot streak, which includes her high profile XXL Freshman inclusion, another new video in “Wet Dollars” and the single “I Like.” Check all of those and the new video below.

NEW MUSIC: PUFF DADDY & THE FAMILY FEAT. PHARRELL WILLIAMS – ‘FINNA GET LOOSE’

He’s baaack. Fresh off the epic Bad Boy reunion at the BET Awards, Sean “Diddy” Combs rolls out his new single “Finna Get Loose,” which he debuted during last night’s show. Released under his ’90s moniker Puff Daddy & The Family, the Pharrell Williams-produced song finds the hip-hop mogul rhyming over an old school beat that will have you shaking in your shiny suit. Puff commands the crowd like a pro (“Get on up!”), while Pharrell plays hypeman on the funky jam. In addition to working on a new album, Puff is taking his Bad Boy family on the road. “#BadBoyFAMILYtour #ComingtoaCityNearYou,” he teased on Instagram.

Big Sean – Play No Games Ft. Chris Brown & Ty Dolla Sign (Official Video)

Big Sean debuts his latest video for “Play No Games” featuring Chris Brown & Ty Dolla Sign. If you grew up in the 90s, then instantly you should notice the Martin themed video. I love the homage paid in this video. Video of the Summer so far in my opinion.

August Alsina – Hip-Hop (Official Video)

He is finally back!!! Despite the health concerns of passing out at one of his concerts recently, going blind in one eye, the New Orleans born R&B singer returns with an official video. The video is for his song titled “Hip-Hop” which is produced by Knucklehead and Korner Keyz. This too was also premiered during the 2015 BET Awards pre-show last night.

Diddy And The Fam Come Together For A Bad Boy Reunion At The BET Awards! (Video)

his very well be the most anticipated and nostalgic performance at last nights BET Awards. The “surprise” reunion of the Bad Boy Family set the whole building fire with the amazing appearances from some of your favorites from the late 90s era, when they had the game on lock. Diddy curated the performance with veteran labelmates including Ma$e, Lil Kim, The Lox, Faith Evans and more. They tapped in to classics like Biggie’s “Hypnotize,” Ma$e’s “Feel So Good” and 112’s “Peaches And Cream,” to name a few.

KENDRICK LAMAR RELEASING SECRET LP?

Cat’s out the bag? According to Walmart, Kendrick Lamar’s sophomore album is penciled in for next Tuesday (January 27). When you consider how rabid K-Dot’s fan base is, the date seems plausible. At this point, he can drop at any moment and move units out. Guess we’ll have to wait and see. Mark your calendars.

Lil Mook – All That (Prod By BSoundBeatz)

Alabama rapper, Lil Mook, releases his new single, “All That”. The track is a more sophisticated, upbeat sound geared towards Mook’s for the ladies. Meek Mill Previews Five Songs From ‘Dreams Worth More Than Money’

We all expected Meek Mill’s Dreams Worth More Than Money in 2014. But prison moved the release of the album to sometime in 2015. Mill’s a free man now, and judging from the five preview snippets he recently dropped on Instagram, the album should come sooner rather than later. Give them all a listen.

It wasn’t the best of years for Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group. The Bawse’s first album sold OK, but his second was pretty disappointing. Omarion’s numbers weren’t particularly good, and  Stalley’s studio debut never got off the ground at all.
MMG has Meek Mill, Wale and French Montana all releasing albums in the first half of 2015.
From what you heard from those snippets, will Mill lead the label out of its doldrums?
