The Compton rapper who recently celebrated his birthday  told  KUBE 93’s Sunday Night Sound Session that he would like to score movies.“I’m really big on visual concepts and the music behind it and the dramatic feel behind it and piecing things together,” said K. Dot. “And I think that comes from music. Now in my brain I would like to challenge myself and take it to another level one day.”

Jeezy Says His Next Album Will Be The “Bible”

Since his 2005 debut release, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101,  Jeezy has been providing the streets the blueprint on how to make it. With ten years in the rap game, countless mixtapes, and four albums; Jeezy is now ready to provide fans with a bible to this hustling, in the form of Seen It All. During an interview with MTV News during Hot 107.9′s Birthday Bash in Atlanta, Jeezy spoke very highly of his upcoming project.
“This is gonna be your bible, this is gonna be your manual,” said the Atlanta wordsmith. “I’m not gonna tell you that everything gonna be okay, that everything’s gonna be alright, but the moral of the story is never quit, never let up. A win is a win. That’s what this album is about.”
While preparing the album, the Snowman is drawing inspiration from major historical figures. “I ain’t no different from a Martin Luther King or a Malcolm X,” said Jeezy. “At the end of the day, they all believed in what they believed in. I feel like that’s what Seen It All is. That’s what I been through; how can I help you?”
Jeezy has been running into label problems with Seen It All and beefing with Freddie Gibbs for much of the year. With no official music from the project out and no release date in sight, it will be worth keeping an eye if Jeezy can match the very high bar he has set for himself.

Celebrity News T.I. Says There Is "A Possibility" That Troy Ave Will Sign To Hustle Gang

Hustle Gang Records boss T.I. speaks on his relationship with Troy Ave, who may or may not be signing with the label.

In the past month, T.I. turned heads when he was seen hanging out with recent XXL Freshman and Brooklyn native Troy Ave on Instagram and the Summer Jam mainstage. Especially after popping up on a remix of Troy's "Your Style" yesterday, T.I. seems to be tight with the young MC, but a recent interview with MTV News reveals that their relationship may soon be a business one.
When asked if he would sign Troy Ave to his Hustle Gang Records imprint, Tip said "I can say that it is a possibility. In the near future there could be some announcements made."
With that in mind, T.I. was asked to elaborate about potentially collaborating with Troy, to which he responded: "I'm sure the music would be phenomenal, but I think above all I want to work with people that the industry would otherwise have a hard time working with. I want to work with the people that the industry may not know how to communicate with or might not know how to perceive.”
Perhaps speaking to Troy Ave's history of drug dealing and gang affiliations (and maybe even his own), T.I. was insistent about his point of wanting to work with artists who he thinks instill some fear in people: “I want to be able to translate for them to the industry and vice versa, because if you are afraid of somebody that limits your ability to communicate, which limits your ability to monetize their possible opportunities. From the artist perspective, if people are afraid of you that limits the opportunities that you have, from people presenting things to you that can benefit your progression. So there must be a gap bridged, I see myself as the bridge… I ain’t have a bridge, I needed a bridge.”
Though rumors of Troy Ave signing to Hustle Gang are currently murky at best, this news does come MTV's Rob Markman, who according to Noisey, has the same manager as Troy Ave. So if anyone knows what's in store for Ave's future, it's him.
Regardless of whether this deal falls through or not, Troy's future is looking bright, to the point where he may have to consider changing the name of his upcoming debut, the working title of which is currently Major Without A Deal.
Watch the full interview with T.I. below.

Dr. Dre Is Working on Kendrick Lamar’s New Album

Dr. Dre may be a billionaire, but he hasn’t abandoned music. Apple’s newest employee is working on Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming album.

During an interview with Nessa at KUBE 93′s Summer Jam, the “Poetic Justice” rapper revealed that he and his mentor are back in the studio.
“Dr. Dre is focused like he always been,” said Kendrick. “He focused on music, man.”
Despite selling Beats by Dre to Apple for $3 billion, Dre hasn’t lost his passion for music. “One thing about Dre, you can’t take the music away. No matter how much money he has, he’s always gonna be right there in that studio,” said K-Dot. “That’s before the deal, after the deal. He’s always locked in there. That’s something that I know personally.”
The follow-up to Kendrick’s Grammy-nominated debut good kid, m.A.A.d city is due this September.
As for Dre’s elusive Detox, Kendrick doesn’t know its status. “I couldn’t give you that word. He’ll have to give you that word, but I know that he’s still a creative genius in there.”
